" And that's all there is of Prentisstown. Populayshun 147 and falling, falling, falling. 146 men and one almost-man. "
I'm 30 pages into this book and it's taking me some time to get used to it. I've heard great things about this book, though, and I hope I enjoy it as much as several other book bloggers I know did :)

I have been looking for this book but haven't found it at my local book store or library. Will wait for your review
I know I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I had seen so many good reviews, but still wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I remember telling my husband when I was about twenty pages into it that I was sticking with the book because of all the great reviews. By the end of the book it was one of my top reads of the year.
Shweta - Yeah..this book was just acquired by my library this week.
Alyce - Oh I'm at the same stage right now. I'm continuing to read only because of the great reviews. I hope I end up liking the book the same way you did :)
Lovely blog! I'm glad I found it! Adding it to my list of book blogs to follow --

Hmm... I haven't heard of this one. Hope it grabs you soon.
Joanne - Thanks for joining my blog :) I hope you like it! Yours is very lovely :)
JoAnn - I hope so too, thanks!
I have been looking for this book in my library but it has still not come.
But somehow, reading these 2 sentences you have culled out, I think I may not like it very much anyway.
Looking forward to your review of it
I'm not liking it much so far! It's not my kind of book, sadly.
I'm moving on to J. Nehru's letters to Indira. THAT's more my kind of book :)
the good reviews are tempting me. it is dystopia so i can see how it can be a downer. too bad it did not work out for you. i'll have to read this when i'm in the dystopia "mood".
